Overview

The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of our business including owning/building advertising marketing strategies, partnering with outsourced vendors to deliver key initiatives, and leading teams of subject matter experts/internal cross-functional departments. This position is ultimately responsible for the brand serving as a leader within Service King that fully understands marketing and ensures every action ladders up to enhance it. Must have a history of good communication with executive team leaders. This position must provide strategic leadership, marketing solutions and brand framework that drive overall brand awareness, expansion and media planning in the market. An experienced leader with communication background will be integral as his role is responsible for external brand sentiment, PR and internal communication at times. This position will report directly to the President of Service King.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide oversight of Creative Brand Agency of record team and responsibilities

  • Manage and provide oversight of PR Agency of record team and ongoing responsibilities

  • Manage and provide oversight of Website Agency of record team and ongoing responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external subject matter experts to co-develop compelling marketing collateral for multi departmental support

  • Work with Business Development department to ensure brand assets and content alignment for Business Development partners

  • Work with Creative Manager to manage all local listings

  • Oversight on all print and digital marketing assets, which includes point of sale, flyers, briefs, case studies and videos

  • Collaborate with external brand agency to lead direction on brand and execute on digital media platforms

  • Manage and maintain corporate website functionality. CMS experience is recommended but not mandatory. Must manage and partner with web agency for ongoing development, SEO, content, location pages updates and digital design

  • Must also partner with IT team to manage backend corporate website components

  • Must lead UX strategy on all digital components of the business. Internal departments will look to this role for experience design and planning to ensure best customer experience and design is implemented

  • Ecommerce experience is recommended but not mandatory. This role must maintain ongoing data and insight components to Service King's new Self Scheduling service tool along with any ongoing UX/ UI enhancements and partnering with IT team to ensure successful implementation

  • Work with Brand Manager to plan, organize, co-develop content for social channels and lead direction on supporting design elements

  • Manage media plan for new store opening strategy – which includes digital, interest and intent levers

Basic Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience leading digital marketing and branding team

  • 5+ years partnering with Creative, PR, Advertising and Digital Platform Agencies

  • 3+ years leading social marketing for a complex brand

  • Proven experience leading DCX, UX strategy for a nation-wide, multi-state operator

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, growing environment

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders both internal and external

  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience buying and executing digital media in-house

  • Experience working on big brand campaign planning and execution

  • Previous experience with Google Analytics, social media management tools, Google data studio and Microsoft Power Bi

  • Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate marketing resources within or outside the department

Additional Details:

  • Report directly to President of Service King

  • Up to 15% travel, nationally
